What You Can Expect

Designed and furnished by the celebrated designer Heinz Julen, Backstage Chalet is a tranquil space with floor-to-ceiling windows providing spectacular panoramic views of the village and the Matterhorn. The chalet has five double bedrooms, one of which contains a high sleeper, perfect for an additional child. With exposed gables and a fireplace at its heart, the open-plan kitchen and living room marry comfort and style. Naturally, all the furniture and furnishings have been designed and manufactured in the Heinz Julen studio in Zermatt and the look is completed by contemporary art from Zermatt’s art rooms.

And Relax… for a unique experience

There is a unique whirlpool on the top floor of the chalet, where at the press of a button, the roof opens and the pool is hydraulically lifted above the roofline to reveal a truly breathtaking view.
