WA Destinations acts as a travel agent for disclosed principals and tour operators. Although monies for your holiday are paid via WA Destinations (the agent) your ‘contract’ will be with the principal/tour operator providing your accommodation (the provider). The contract is bound by the principal’s/tour operator’s terms and conditions.
We are occasionally asked by our clients if we are members of ATOL, ABTA or similar such tourism authorities. We appreciate our clients intend to spend a substantial amount of money and we understand why they would seek this assurance. However, it is important to note that WA Destinations acts as directory and agent to all the chalets on our website. When booking a chalet with WA Destinations you will then enter into a contractual agreement with the chalet owner or operator, not WA Destinations. For all bookings, your contract will be with the provider of the arrangements. The terms and conditions of the provider of your confirmed arrangements will apply to your booking. Copies of these conditions will be given to you on confirmation of the booking and you will be asked to read and sign the outlined contract.
WA Destinations acts as an agent for the individual chalets, hotels and tour operators on our site. You will be provided with full details of your tour operator, hotel, chalet or hotel provider when you book your holiday and your contract will be bound by their terms and conditions. We will give you a copy of your tour operator, hotel or chalet provider’s Terms and Conditions once you book, which we encourage you to read before you sign and return the contract.
Your peace of mind is really important to us. Where a chalet, hotel or holiday is ABTA/ATOL/AITO/TTA protected, it will be clearly shown on the page and if you are in any doubt, then call us or send us an email. We are happy to provide you with further information.

You will pay WA Destinations for your holiday, and we will provide you with all your documents and booking confirmation. We have a long-standing relationship with all our properties and service providers and they support our business through referral fees, so our clients do not pay any extra to use our service. The price you pay will be the same as if you booked directly with the operator, but you get the benefit of our experience and independent advice. We also never add surcharges on to transfer costs – you pay the same as when you book direct, but we take the hassle away for you.
All of the prices shown on our website or in any printed publicity material issued by us are indicative only. When you enquire, we will confirm the price of your stay and any additional services, so that you know exactly what to expect before you book.
You want to make a change to your booking
If you need to make a change to your confirmed booking, then contact the tour operator or provider first and they will try to help. There might be a charge for any changes to your booking and any changes are at the discretion of the tour operator or provider. The person who signed the booking form will need to request the changes in writing. If we can help in any way, then let us know.
You would like to cancel
If you need to cancel your holiday, you will need to do so in writing and the cancellation must be signed by the person who signed the booking form. The cancellation should be sent directly to the tour operator/provider with a copy sent to us. Your contract with your tour operator or provider will detail their cancellation and refund policies. We can also provide this information for you on request.
Your tour operator or provider cancels
We will let you know as soon as possible if your tour operator or provider needs to make changes to your booking or cancel it. As part of our service, we will be on-hand to speak to you and the tour operator/provider to help arrange alternative solutions but we do not have any liability towards our clients as your contract is directly with the tour operator/provider.
Insurance
Travel insurance is required by some tour operators and providers and, even if it is not a requirement, we strongly recommend that everyone in your party has adequate cover before you travel. We are happy to recommend insurers and policies but you need to ensure that the insurance you buy protects you and your party appropriately. WA Destinations takes no liability for any accidents, illness or injuries sustained during your holiday.
